Three Fun Things to Do in Middletown, DE With Your Family

Crooked Hammock

The first item on my list of things to do in Middletown, DE, is the Crooked Hammer. The Crooked Hammock is a local brewery that makes a perfect escape for families. You can also bring your dog and friends to enjoy local musicians, hand-crafted food, and locally brewed beer in their backyard. Kids can enjoy games such as cornhole, ping pong, ringtoss, and more. They also have a playground to tie together the family feel. Parents can get a refreshing beer and lay in a hammock watching their kids play. They also have a screened-in porch that makes you feel like you are at a family cookout.

But one of the unique things the Crooked Hammock provides is an interactive brewery tour. You can explore every area of the facility, hear stories about the brewery, and taste samples of their locally brewed beer. The tour starts at 11 am each day. The current price is $25 per person.

The Crooked Hammock is located at 316 Auto Park Drive, Middletown, DE 19709.
