Philadelphia Maternity Photography

BECAUSE YOU FELL IN LOVE before THEY WERE BORN

With nearly two decades of experience as a Philadelphia maternity photographer, I’ve learned that the most meaningful images come when clients feel at ease. My approach is calm, intentional, and clearly directed—so you don’t have to wonder what to do or how to move.

I guide you into simple, flattering positions and interactions, paying close attention to light, posture, and the quiet emotional weight of this season. The result is maternity photographs that feel grounded and honest—rooted in anticipation rather than performance.

Honest photographs to help us remember.

I blinked and my first baby boy is now taller than me. As a mother of three and a Philadelphia maternity photographer for nearly two decades, I’ve witnessed firsthand how quickly motherhood reshapes both our days and our sense of self.

Only now do I fully appreciate how meaningful those early seasons were—the waiting, the becoming, the quiet before everything changed. I photograph maternity with that perspective in mind, creating space for presence rather than perfection.

These images aren’t about how you looked. They’re about remembering who you were in this moment.

MOTHERHOOD
DESERVES more than A SELFIE.

We spend so much time caring for the life we’re growing that we often forget to mark this chapter for ourselves.

Pregnancy is that last quiet chapter before everything expands. It’s a season of waiting that deserves to be acknowledged, not rushed past or documented as an afterthought.

These photographs are meant to bring you back here years from now. To remind you of who you were before sleepless nights blurred the days together. They’re the images you don’t yet realize you’ll need—but will come to treasure deeply.

These images are for the version of you that comes later.

WHAT MAKES my work DIFFERENT

01

All Inclusive

My packages are simply priced for transparency and ease. All digitals are included in your session fee so you don't have to choose between the many favorites. I love the freedom to create a wide variety of images knowing you will get to enjoy them all.

02

Relationships First

I adore working with clients over and over again. Not only does it make us more relaxed together every time we work together, I genuinely enjoy getting to know you and building relationships with my clients over the course of many years.

03

Multi-Session Discounts

To that end, I offer discounts when booking both maternity and newborn sessions, or three sessions for the baby's first year package. Not only does this cross off a big decision from your to-do list, but you get priority bookings and save significant money on each session when booking more than one. Payments are always divided up to make it easy. And with each session, we have even more fun with each other.

Baby's First Year Collections

One Year.
Three Chapters.

Pregnancy is often where families begin thinking about photographs, but it’s rarely where they want the story to end.

The Baby’s First Year Collection allows us to document this season as a connected whole, beginning here and continuing through your baby’s first year.

The Baby’s First Year Collection includes:

+  Three sessions during your baby’s first year (maternity, newborn, and one milestone of your choice)

+  Priority access to my calendar for each session

+  Discounted collection pricing when booked together

+  A cohesive body of work that reflects the full story of these seasons

Why Families Choose This Option...

Many of my clients choose this collection because it makes life easier as things get busy throughout the year.

You don’t have to know exactly what the first year will look like.

You simply begin here—knowing the rest will be documented with the same care and consistency as your maternity session.

As we move from pregnancy into newborn days and beyond, we get to know each other and our familiarity builds. Each session feels easier, more natural, and more connected—because we’re not starting over with someone new each time.

If you’re expecting and already thinking ahead to how quickly this year will pass, the Baby’s First Year Collection allows you to plan once and be present for everything that follows.

I’m happy to talk through timing, availability, and whether this feels like the right fit for your family.

“ANNEMARIE IS SO RESPONSIVE and ATTENTIVE to WHAT OUR VISION WAS FOR OUR PHOTOS.”

Working with AnneMarie has been wonderful! To be honest, I avoided the camera for most of our pregnancy and was very nervous about maternity photos, and AnneMarie made me feel so comfortable and confident during our time together. AnneMarie was so patient and relaxed the entire time and gave us the time we needed to settle in. We are looking forward to working with AnneMarie for newborn and family photos in the future!

My approach to maternity sessions is best described as gently guided. I’ll offer direction to help you look and feel your best, but the focus is on natural movement, connection, and emotion rather than overly posed or formal imagery.

If a partner or older children are joining, we’ll incorporate them in a relaxed, organic way so the session feels more like time together than a photoshoot.

While I don’t guarantee an exact number, most families can expect approximately 60–80 fully edited images. Every session unfolds a little differently depending on location, light, and who is participating, but my goal is always to deliver a thoughtfully curated gallery that feels complete and story-driven.

I recommend booking your maternity session early in your second trimester, especially if you are planning to bundle maternity and newborn sessions or reserve a Baby’s First Year collection. My calendar fills well in advance, and early booking ensures the most flexibility.

Absolutely. Styling support is included and encouraged. You’re welcome to email or text me during the planning process, and I’m happy to help you select pieces that photograph beautifully and feel true to you.

I also offer access to a small, curated client closet with timeless maternity staples if you’d like to incorporate them.

While I don’t guarantee an exact number of images, I do make sure we capture your family thoroughly. Most families should expect to receive at least 70+ edited images following their session (often more but each family dynamic is different!).

Yes. You’ll receive a fully curated, edited, complete gallery. All images are professionally retouched with my standard editing process, including natural skin smoothing and removal of temporary blemishes. If you have any specific retouching concerns, just let me know in advance so we can discuss what’s realistic.

Maternity sessions can take place in your home, outdoors, or in my studio space in Delaware City, DE. The studio is a bright, neutral environment with a relaxed, lived-in feel—perfect if you prefer a clean aesthetic or don’t want to worry about your home.

I’ll help you choose the location that best fits your vision and comfort level.

Where do maternity sessions take place?

Do you include all of the digital images?

Most maternity sessions last up to one hour. This allows plenty of time to ease into the session, adjust outfits if desired, and photograph at a relaxed pace without feeling rushed.

How long does a maternity session last?

Absolutely. Styling support is included and encouraged. You’re welcome to email or text me during the planning process, and I’m happy to help you select pieces that photograph beautifully and feel true to you.

Will you help me choose what to wear?

How far in advance should I book?

The ideal window for maternity photos is between 28–34 weeks. At this stage, your belly is beautifully defined, and you’re typically still comfortable enough to move and enjoy the session. That said, every pregnancy is different, and I’m always happy to help you choose timing that feels right for you.

When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?

“IT WAS SUCH A GREAT EXPERIENCE I CAN CONVINCE THE FAMILY to DO IT YEARLY.”

Her relaxed nature and passion for her work makes the whole experience fun - even with 3 young kids. The hardest part, by a mile, was deciding on the images because there were too many sweet ones.

Deciding what to do with your photos can be overwhelming.

Life is busy, especially with little ones, and for some of us, DIY does not come easy. There are hundreds of family photos to do something with. I offer complimentary frame and album design so you can spend more time enjoying the images we create and less time feeling guilty that you never got around to making last year's album.
