There is a $300 non-refundable deposit on all local sessions. Sessions take place on weekdays. You can expect 40+ digitals from a maternity or milestone session, and 70+ from a family/newborn session. I do not offer weekend sessions or beach mini sessions.
I book up for summer beach sessions very early, but I do have a few amazing associates that work with me so I can continue serving the many families that love my style and service. They are equally qualified and trained in the same photographic style as me. I still do all the pre-session planning with you, remain your main point of contact, and I do all the editing. Yes, you are welcome to print the purchased images on your own. If you do this, I recommend making sure that the printer does not color correct the images (many automatically do this.) I also recommend looking for a high quality printer. While 10 cent prints sound great in theory, the cheaper printing quality often won’t do my images justice. Paper quality, color correction and a handful of other factors play a big role in the way your prints turn out. This is one of the reasons why I LOVE offering high quality prints to my clients.

Can I print the images on my own?

While I don’t guarantee an exact number of images, I do make sure we capture your family thoroughly. Most families should expect to receive at least 60+ edited images following their session (often more but each family dynamic is different!).

How many images will I receive?

We will be in close communication leading up to your session if the weather looks questionable! We will either move the session time on that day, or reschedule for another day.

While turnaround times can vary by season, I aim to deliver all images within three weeks of your session, but often much sooner.

When will I receive my images?

You are absolutely welcome to share images on social media. To ensure that my work is properly represented, I ask that you refrain from any edits. I also appreciate image credits and tags as they help me to continue to grow as a business.

Can I share the images on social media?

By default, the creators of images always own the rights to the images. However I’ll give you a release to use, print and share your images. The only thing you won’t be able to do is sell your image as a stock photo.

I typically plan about 60 minutes for family sessions and 2 hours for newborns. While we likely don’t need to be shooting this entire time, this does give us the flexibility for location changes, rowdy kids and time to warm up.

How long should we plan for the session to take?

I do light retouching on all purchased images. This means that if there are any obvious blemishes that should be removed (such as a bump from the tumble your toddler took that morning,) I’ll take care of it! Larger edits (such as removing tan lines,) require more time and would require additional editing hours to your collection.

I'm a true believer that my images aren’t meant to solely exist in a digital space.

These are luxury albums personally designed by me, and come in a variety of fine linens, supple leathers, and rich velvets. These aren’t the same albums you find from online consumer labs. They are expertly crafted, with perfect colors, and look incredible on your coffee table.

I want every client to walk away from our session with a tangible fine art product, so a product credit is included in every digital collection. You can use your print credit towards a unique deckled-edge hand torn print, a framed piece of wall art, or even a leather matted album with your favorite images from your session.
