About King of Prussia Doulas
King of Prussia Doulas was founded in 2017 by Lacey Morgan to provide a supportive community for families in the Southeastern Pennsylvania area. Lacey had become a doula two years prior and understood from her own experience as a mother how hard it could be to walk through pregnancy without great support and strong guidance. Since starting the center, she’s created a group of doulas who offer clients expertise and insight in a warm, welcoming environment.
The team at King of Prussia Doulas is compassionate and knowledgeable. They’re here to ensure birth is a positive experience by making you feel heard while offering their expertise. Their unrivaled care is what earned them the label of Main Line Parent’s Family Favorite in 2022.
Services
King of Prussia Doulas understands that pregnancy and childbirth should be a monumental time in your life. Unfortunately, much of the information can quickly overwhelm you, and the medical community tends to make you feel like just another appointment time slot. King of Prussia Doulas will quell your anxiety and do what they can to make this season positive. Throughout your pregnancy, your doula will use their experience and education to talk you through any concerns. Once labor starts, you can guarantee they’ll be by your side, ensuring your birth plan is enacted while offering wonderful pain relief methods.
The center allows you to continue your care with its magnificent postpartum support. Not only will your doula check on your recovery and attend to your needs, but they can also assist with feeding issues and assess you for potential mood disorders. They will even stay with your family so you can get the sleep you desperately need.
The doulas provide a wide selection of classes on topics such as pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, breastfeeding, and infant massage. You can choose to attend in person or from the convenience of your own home. These classes will help you feel prepared, empowering you for your parenting journey.
Specialty
Following your delivery, your doula can provide encapsulation services. This is a process in which the placenta is cleaned, steamed, dehydrated, and crushed into powder form before being placed into capsules. The service is safe and reliable.
