With nearly two decades of experience photographing Philadelphia-area families, I guide sessions in a way that feels calm, flexible, and low-pressure. I promise you- your home does not need to be perfect, your baby does not need to sleep the entire time, and you don't need fancy dresses a week post-partum to create truly meaningful images.
I focus on presence over perfection, creating images that reflect how your family actually shows up in this season—hunger cries, diaper changes, exhaustion, and all. And I'll still make it look pretty.

Common Questions
Here's an overview of what you can expect working with me. I'm known for my relaxed, warm personality and attention to detail, which is why so many families choose to work with me over the course of many seasons of family life.
Babies fuss, need diaper changes and feedings. But when you're working with me, you get my veteran baby-care skills to help read cues, and anticipate baby's needs before they can get too fussy. I'll be there to help swaddle and soothe so you can feel at ease with the whole newborn session experience.

I never want you to feel like you have to choose between favorite images in your newborn gallery. I include all the edited digitals- a combination of both lifestyle family images and some minimalist newborn detail portraits.
6. When Philly newborn sessions take place
After baby is born, you'll just send me a text or email and we will schedule the exact session date, usually within 2-3 weeks post-partum, but this is flexible based on how you are recovering! I am always flexible with new parents and scheduling.

I love collaborating with my clients to make your dream in-home session come to life! Styling help, and vision-boarding are always included.
Your due date will go on my calendar, and I will check in a few weeks prior! Once baby is born, your actual session date will get scheduled with your recovery in mind.

1. When Should I book A Philly newborn Session
Most families reach out in their second and third trimester. Once it feels like I'm the right fit, I'll send over the contract, deposit request and booking forms.
Immediate family- spouses, big siblings, your beloved golden retreivers, even grandparents if they are in town to visit baby! I combine both family photos with solo newborn portraits in all of my lifestyle sessions.

I photograph newborn sessions in Philadelphia homes of all kinds, from center city row homes and apartments to larger homes throughout the Main Line and surrounding suburbs. The beauty of an in-home session is that we can work with the light and spaces you already live in, creating photographs that feel personal to your family and this season of life.

Newborn sessions are booked around your due date and finalized once baby arrives, so there is always flexibility on my calendar and the expectation that babies will arrive on their own timeline.
