“My life is shaped by the urgent need to wander and observe, and my camera is my passport. ”
It’s been a lifelong creative endeavor…
Hey there!
My interest in photography developed in college when I caught the travel itch. With a little Fuji point and shoot film camera I captured my many travels throughout Latin America and the National Parks. While my work has evolved so much over the past two decades of shooting and learning, I am certain that my early interest in travel photography has shaped my visual voice.
My work today is characterized by the nostalgic colors of 35mm film, family connection, and honesty. The stories I tell through my lens have evolved as I emerged from globetrotting into motherhood, but I am forever drawn to documenting the things that matter most and making art out of the ordinary.

I’m from Rochester NY originally, but we have moved around SO much since college.
-
I have a Master’s in Latin American Studies and I was a Spanish teacher for 10 years.
-
Before moving to Delaware, I spent some of my best years living the Leave-It-To-Beaver homeschool mom life in Lehigh Valley, PA. I’m a crunchy-natural mama at heart 🙂
-
I have three children who are getting way too big (my oldest is in middle school!) and two fluffy mini goldendoodle puppies.
-
We now live in Newark, Delaware because we somehow seem to love bouncing around the east coast for my husband’s work.
-
I’ve been married for almost half my life to my college sweetheart.
-
My family lives for travel to National Parks, visiting local farms, hiking, backyard veggie growing, and homemade pizza.
-
We love spontaneous road trips to the mountains and the shore.
A little peek at my personal family adventures, a lot of these memories shot on 35mm film for the nostaligia. We love to travel and explore new places!
